Reconstruction of an original crevice cave from the Rio Xingu Available in 2 sizes
We were very lucky to be able to obtain such a piece. In a complex process, it was recorded with a 3D scanner, a 3D model was printed from the data and this in turn was used to produce a plaster mould. This now serves as a tool for us to create crevice caves for you and your catfish that are very close to the original, a natural cave like in the Rio Xingu, the original habitat of many of the L-catfish we keep.
The small version is ideal for flat-built catfish such as Pseudolithoxus and Lasiancistrus. The medium version is ideal for somewhat larger animals such as L082, L168 or Ancistrus ranunculus L034.
